About my love of Australian Shepherds
I'm the breeder, Sherri Martin. I have been breeding AKC registered Australian Shepherd puppies for last 10 years. My love for this breed came from my brother. He had one that went everywhere with him. He had a tragic accident and his dog, Bear stayed by his side the whole time. Even after he was gone , the dog slept by his truck and even went 4 miles to the house my brother and him had lived. My brother had rode horses and he had taught the dog to do so many things. He would pretend shoot him and he would play dead. They were best friends and in the end it was comforting to know that he was with him in his last moments.
